Stay inside the GPS boundary. SLOW NO WAKE near kayakers. Never exit the jet ski at Turnip Rock.
Port Austin Reef Lighthouse
A working 1878 lighthouse standing two miles offshore on the Port Austin reef. A one-of-a-kind photo stop you can only get to by water.
Ride Smart
Approach from the south or west only — the shallow reef is a restricted zone on your GPS. Climbing the lighthouse is prohibited (private property). Do not circle the lighthouse.
Port Crescent State Park
Three miles of sandy shoreline and sandbars along the tip of the Thumb. Beach your ski in the designated area and enjoy the day-use park.
Ride Smart
Day use only. You may get off the jet ski in the GPS-marked area. Turn off the engine near the sandbar. Entering the Pinnebog River is prohibited.
